Throughout my data science and coding journey, I will continue to add to this list with tips & best practices that I learn along the way.

  • predict what your code will execute before you execute it
  • there is not “right” or “one way” to write code, but think about how much better, faster and more efficient can the code get.
  • if you got an output you did not expect, but it happens to work or maybe it doesn’t, either way figure out WHY it happened
  • if you think your code is not working (as in not printing when it should), print a simple command that you know will work to rule out possible problems
