Codecademy — where I learn python, SQL, GitHub (Codecademy Pro Student membership; 35% off regular price).

Medium — where I write my blogs to share my progress.

GitHub — where I keep track of my portfolio projects, blogs, and profile. Used this profile template for a data scientist to create mine.

CoderPad —great platform to use when collaborating in real time with others online using code.

Jupyter Notebook — what I use to access and complete data files for portfolio projects.

Google Meets — to record difficult concepts that my mentor explains so I can refer back to them later.

Google Docs — where I keep notes of my mentor meetings. Helps to let my mentor know what I’ve been working on, keeping track of my progress and keeping myself accountable. I use the format below to recap my meetings:

DATE:

Key things that have happened since last time.

What have you been working on since the last meeting ? Reflection on discussions from last meetup ?

Current challenges.

Did you get stuck on any questions or concepts ?

Notepad.

What was talked about during this meetup ?

What to focus on for the next two weeks.

Specific topics to cover ? Specific code to work on ?

Possible concepts to cover at the next meetup.

Areas that I am confused or curious about .

*I will keep adding to this list as I discover more tools along my learning journey.
